RSVP

I have been communicating with my customers about RSVPs for more than 4 months without knowing what on Earth the acronym stood for. So, wiki-ed it and here it goes:

Wikipedia's RSVP reads-

* "Répondez s'il vous plaît", a French phrase that translates to "please respond" and word for word means "respond if you please"[1]. It is with this meaning that invitation cards and similar documents are often marked with "RSVP." It is standard practice to reply to an RSVP request whether confirming attendance or declining.

Nice. and they made me call up all the customers that we sent mailers to one month ago about an event happening next week. Look - if people want to come, they Would have responded right? EH- HELLO? PLEASE REFER TO DEFINITION [1]. IT IS BOLDED- JUST FYI.

Ridiculous bunch of cabbage heads.
